When I started Joce & Co., I envisioned simplifying branding and marketing for the small business owner.

Which is....harder than I thought.

So here's a sneak peek of the "easy-as-🥧" glossary I'm building.

The goal? To

let’s talk about women*

I want all people to succeed.

And I’m particularly interested in supporting marginalized people.

Today, we are inundated with messaging telling us to be #bossbitches, and women are only successful if we build an empire. An Instagrammable, perfect empire, at that.

Counterintuitively, too many of us have been discouraged or pushed down as we pursue our goals. We’re told to build an empire - but not at the expense of being a “proper” woman (i.e. mother, caretaker, wife, friend, etc.) first.

Fuck that.

I have been lucky enough to have found community - a small community, but strong. And I feel invigorated when I am supported as a woman, and I want to help others feel the same.

While I will work with all folx, I am focusing on womxn-owned businesses and creatives, to help combat this narrative and help build them to be connected with each other, collaborative, and confident.
